I ordered a bag of Kona blend and was excited to try it, but it just didn’t taste very fresh when it showed up. The smell was flat, and I had to really look around for the roast date, which already made me a little unsure.

Shipping was fine and the package wasn’t damaged or anything, but the coffee tasted old to me. For what I paid, I expected a lot better, and I also couldn’t shake the feeling that the final cost had a little extra padded in somewhere. Probably won’t be ordering again.

I don’t know if it was just my old phone acting up or maybe I was too impatient, but the site kept lagging on me. The menus felt kind of confusing, and it took way longer than it should have to find the coffee. Checking out was a hassle too, which was annoying because I was just trying to place a quick order.

I was excited to try this, but the bag I got tasted really over-roasted, almost burnt. It had that thing where the bitterness kind of takes over and there isn’t much flavor left behind. I tried ordering from royalkona.com because I was hoping for a smoother cup of coffee, but this one ended up being way too bitter for my taste. The shipping was fine and everything arrived in good condition, so no issues there. I just couldn’t really get into the flavor, even after giving it a couple of tries. I’m sure people who like a stronger, bolder coffee might enjoy it, but it wasn’t a good fit for me.

I ordered the same Royal Kona coffee twice, thinking, okay, I know what I’m getting this time. The first bag was actually decent, so I figured I’d just reorder and keep things simple.

Then the second bag showed up i was confused. It tasted burnt and kind of flat, and when I looked at the beans, they were all over the place, some really dark, some noticeably lighter. I kept thinking, wait, is this even the same coffee?

Maybe I just got a bad bag, but for the price, I don’t really want to play guessing games every time I order. I wanted consistency, and this wasn’t it. I probably won’t be buying it again.

I bought this as a gift, and personally, I was a little disappointed with how it came across. The packaging felt plain and didn’t really have that nice “gift” feel when handing it to someone. To me, it looked more like something I picked up last minute rather than a special coffee gift. It might be totally fine if you’re buying it for yourself, but I probably wouldn’t order from royalkona.com again if I needed something to give as a gift

Am I the only one who had a super slow shipping experience with royalkona.com? I placed an order and then basically heard nothing for days, just waiting around with no real updates. The coffee itself might be perfectly fine, but the delivery time was frustrating. Not sure I’d order from them again.

I really wanted to like it. Took a few sips, waited a bit… but there was this strange bitter aftertaste that just stuck around. Not sure if it was the roast or what, but I couldn’t finish the cup.

Well... my order showed up, but it definitely wasn’t what I picked. The coffee bags were completely different, and there wasn’t any note or explanation included. It was frustrating, and customer service took longer than expected to get back to me.

I returned my order and the refund took way longer than I’m used to. Other stores I’ve dealt with usually process returns and refunds much faster, so this was frustrating. The return itself wasn’t complicated, but the wait definitely made the experience less positive...

I bought this thinking it would have that nice smooth Kona kind of taste, but it really didn’t for me. It came off harsh and bitter, and I kept trying to like it but just couldn’t. Maybe I got a weird bag or something, I don’t know, but for the price I was expecting a lot better. I don’t think I’d buy it again...

I don’t know if it was just me, but this tasted really watery and had almost no kick at all. I was expecting something with a bit more flavor, and instead I’m sitting here wondering why I even bothered. Maybe other people got better ones, but mine was way too weak.

I picked up the decaf hoping it would be a nice smooth coffee for evenings, but it was underwhelming. It wasn’t terrible or undrinkable, just kind of flat and a little stale tasting to me, and I didn’t get much of that Kona flavor I was expecting.

Shipping was totally fine and the bag arrived looking decent, but for what it costs, I think a lot of customers would probably expect something richer. I tried changing the grind and brewing it a few different ways, but it still came out weak. I don’t think I’d buy the decaf again.

I bought this hoping for that real Kona coffee experience, but it just tasted average to me. The info on the bag didn’t really reassure me either, so I was left feeling like I might’ve been taken advantage of as a customer. Maybe I’m just unlucky, but I don’t feel confident this is truly authentic Kona. I won’t be buying it again

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering these. When I opened the bag, the beans had this stale, old smell, and the coffee just tasted flat no matter what I tried. I even messed around with different grind sizes hoping it would bring out more flavor, but it didn’t really help. For the price, I expected something much fresher. Definitely regret buying these and wouldn’t order them again.

For what this costs, I think the company needs to be more accountable for the quality they’re sending out. Maybe some people will enjoy it, but I felt let down, and I won’t be ordering it again.

I went on royalkona.com thinking I’d have a nice easy time browsing coffee, but there really wasn’t much to choose from. A lot of the options felt like the same thing just repackaged in different sizes or bundles, which made it weirdly frustrating when I was just trying to compare and pick something new. If you already know exactly what you want, it’s probably fine, but I was hoping to look around a bit. Instead, it turned into this unexpected little stress session, and I ended up leaving without buying anything...

I was expecting a stronger scent, but the aroma felt weak to me.

I’ve bought from this brand before and usually really like their stuff, so I was hoping this would feel worth the splurge. But i just can’t justify the price. It’s not bad, but for what you get, it feels way too expensive. Kind of disappointing because I do like the brand, but this one isn’t worth it for me.
